Field Education is designed to provide practical tools from ecumenical perspective for developing the ministerial skills in students necessary to fulfil their call. It aims at equipping students for the diversified ministries of the Church in particular, and the society in general. Students are guided by the professors and local mentors/pastors towards ecumenical, ecclesial, ecological and socio-cultural realities to ensure the relevance and applicability of their training in the socio-religious and cultural context of India. These tools and skills gained in urban and rural context prepares them to become effective pastors/priests/vicars, counsellors, social advocates and leaders in Christian organizations.
