College Administration- Staff and Student Participation The Staff Council administers the College academic and related matters through various staff sub- committees with student participation. The student representatives to the staff sub-committees as well as student committees and leaders will be elected by the students at a meeting convened by the Director either at the end of each academic year. These representatives will hold membership for a period of one academic year to learn and exercise participatory administration. Guru-Sishya Fellowship Groups Each Guru is assigned to a group of sishyas and these groups meet every week for informal sharing and fellowship. This fellowship brings the gurus and sishyas together to build a relationship for a meaningful participation - the academic, social and personal problems of the students are shared for counselling and guidance. Director's Rendezvous Once a month, the Director meets with members of the teaching faculty and a group of students meet for sharing common concerns. This post dinner session is to bring about a closer relationship between the faculty members and the students. Campus Children Children of the community have organised themselves into a formal committee for fellowship. They participate in activities like, Sunday school, worship, sports, cultural and entertainment. |
