Faculty Profile

Dr. Sam P. Mathew is Associate Professor and Head of the Department of New Testament Studies. He obtained M.Th. and D.Th. in New Testament from the Senate of Serampore College. He taught at various recognised institutions such as Serampore College and such other institutions for the past 10 years. Dr. Sam, who hails from the Church of South India, has published a number of articles and a book.

Rev. V. J. Pitchai Rajan is Assistant Professor in the Depart ment of New Testament Studies. He obtainted B.D. and M.Th. in New Testament from Tamilnadu Theological Seminary, Arasaradi, Madurai. He furthur did his M.Phil. in Christian Studies from University of Madaras. He hails from Church of South India.

Ms. Shanthi Sudha Monica is Assistant Professor in the Department of New Testament Studies. She obtained B.D. and M.Th. in New Testament from the Senate of Serampore College. Ms. Monica, who hails from the Baptist Church, has taught in other Senate affiliated colleges. Currently, she is pursuing her D.Th. studies at Federated Faculty for Research in Religion and Culture, Kottayam, Kerala, India.
